Finally got it stopped enough to pour the super glue to it. It doesn't look like much but it bled like a stuck hog! I'm on some blood thinners since a little incident this summer.

Heck as long as you didn't get any in the gravy or pork it will be OK.  Palm of the hand is a painful.place to have stiches I would think, maybe super glue is better.  During the early stages of the ice storm in 2007 my wife was bitten by a brown recluse spider and had a bad reaction to it, so I can sympathize with spending a little time in the ER, thinking about all the things you need to get done.  BTW I also understand on the blood thinner thing, it amazing how much more you bleed.

Done working at 2 today. Playing with a new gizmo. Prime rib roast. Gonna let it roll for 2hrs  then incinerate it quickly under the broiler.

It's prime rib, how can it be bad.  Is it an immersion cooker?

My buddy just got back from Texas quail hunting, brought me several.  I need to find a good way to cook them low carb.  As a youngin I would go shoot some before breakfast, fresh fried quail with biscuit and gravy sure sounds good....have been informed I need to eat more healthy more often... Suggestions?

Go for the quail and gravy, then eat oatmeal tomorrow.

     Boy Griz kind of hate to post todays foodie stuff because you are doing healthy diet,

Maybe just a little .  A nice coating of ice outside in Billetheadville. What to do? Cook of course! After more reading in my new Charcuterie book and after Walleyemike's post on canadian bacon I just had to try it. Been in a brine for 48 hours and then in the fridge overnight to dry and develop a  pellicle  for the smoke to adhere better to. Ready to go into smoker,

   Then the Mrs decided to do potato rolls. She gets into kneading the dough,

  Then I cut the jerky in strips I did the other day,

   First dough rise,

  Between dough rises time for an adult hot chocolate break,

  And into oven! And out of the oven,

   Right now the BilletHead is eating a hot fresh potato roll .
