Terrierman Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 The last brisket I did I had the egg at about 200 and the whole brisket on for about 12 hours. Rubbed it a day before. After it was done, I put it in foil in a cooler overnight. Put a cup of cabernet and a cup of beef stock in the foil pocket and warmed it again on the egg because the oven was full with other things. I don't know what temp it got to but it disappeared. snagged in outlet 3, Gavin, MOPanfisher and 1 other 4
MOPanfisher Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 Wife had to gobtake care of sick grandson so tonight's quick hitter supper. Some pork chops that she had thawed and what goes with pork better than apples. So the chops get seasoned with cavenders and s/p into the cast iron skillet with bacon grease, apples sliced and into skillet with some butter, cinnamon, sugar and coca cola. Throw in some salad in a bag and boom supper. Snagged, no pantyhose or socks I promise. snagged in outlet 3, ness, Gavin and 1 other 4
Terrierman Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 I love BBQ chicken. Not slow smoked but grilled and browned over a medium fire and then sauced with the sauce browned a little too. Got it going right now. Some potatoes browned in butter, sweet corn and a green salad to go with. Life is not what you could call difficult. ness, Johnsfolly and snagged in outlet 3 3

rps Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 I have a very large baker in the oven. When it comes out, I will split it lengthwise and mix the insides with blanched broccoli, Italian 5 cheese, chicken, sour cream, butter and s&p. The mix goes back in the potato skin for a second bake. Enjoying this Ozark evening. Chief Grey Bear, ness and BilletHead 3
