Terrierman Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 Green beans and new potatoes seasoned with bacon and onion. Peanut butter and apricot jam sandwich on whole wheat toast. Glass of cold milk and Cardinals mashing the Reds. Not that bad for a medium stormy April evening. grizwilson, ness, MOPanfisher and 1 other 4

grizwilson Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 Well I am not as fancy as most of you all but the cold snap brought out some pinto beans to soak overnight, in the pot to cook all day with a country ham shank and some scraps, fry a few taters a skillet of cornbread good eatin tonight. For clarity, that is Lady Bear's fancy coated cast iron pot. MOPanfisher Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 Cooking for the kids tonight. Stir fry, raided the freezer and found some sirloin tip and a small package of fillet mignon (at least that is what is written on the white paper from last beef slaughter), got an orange bell pepper, couple of sweet onions, green onions, carrots, sugar snap peas, a small bag of shrimo, and a box of spaghetti noodles because that is my daughters favorite part. Gonna roll the wok (and probably some smoke) later. Johnsfolly, ness and BilletHead 3
