Rare flatiron steak, broccoli, and red potatoes slathered in a compound butter that included chives, Worcestershire sauce, roasted garlic and a touch of lemon juice.

Haven't cooked much in the last month. To busy with work, travel & kiddo obligations. Had a little break today so did some Chicken Picatta with some Fettucine, Arugula, & Spinach. Pretty easy. Wife and oldest girl gobbled. The young one does not like capers.

We do at the Folly household! Put capers in a lot of meals.

You can never predict what a 9 yr old girl will eat. She ate most. Hated the capers! She will eat vile disgusting unseasoned steamed broccoli & peas. Likes Pickles... Is what it is.

Odd one here, but very good.

Slow cooker Greek lamb shanks with potatoes and a sun-dried tomato/Kalamata olive sauce.

Well, did a quick, pantry-friendly one tonight. Linguine and clams. It’s a repeat, but it’s been a while. Essentially a white wine, butter and clam juice sauce with onion, garlic, parsley and thyme tossed into some linguine. Dang tasty.

I keep an emergency stash of clams for exactly this purpose.

Good looking plate of food Ness. Not sure where you placed it. Looks like new lumber😁.
