Daryk Campbell Sr
Donna's potato salad was worth the drive from St Louis. I played nice and only had one serving, but would sure like the recipe. The wings were very good, and the smoked chicken was as good as it smelled. THANK YOU to everyone who made this happen. Thanks to the two members who stepped up and invited me to your home, and to your boat. You know who you are. :-) Sac River Jim and Ketchup 2 Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. abkeenan
Nice fish there Carter. Is that an old Mann's Dave Parker Classic Spinnerbait? Love those spinnerbaits. Had one of my best days and weekends ever on one of those almost 20 years ago.
Sac River Jim
i had a great time and met alot of people i'd talked to on here for almost 5 years that was the most important part for me. fishing was tough for us but dblades and i had a blast anyhows. i was surprised the water wasnt a couple degrees warmer but i still think those fish are gonna make a move out of the abyss anytime now. i actually think from what i read first of the week that the muddy run off and weak cold front pushed them a little deeper. i marked alot of fish suspended tight in the pole timber and cedars at 40 plus fow. i want to thank everyone involved in putting on such a nice event and thnx for such a great dinner i stuffed myself on chicken and donna's tator salad. i hope we do this again soon. we'll it was a pleasure getting back on the rock but have to get on the road back to stockton and reeves bros tourney this morning at 8:00am. lets do this again it soon!!!!!! well after fishing my old stomping grounds i had a hard time getting out of bed and heading to stockton but im glad i did because we got on a really good jerkbait bite today and put 12.65lbs in the boat with a 4.95lb kicker which got us in the money.. we targeted shad balls and used a pretty fast aggressive cadence. slow cadence with long pauses didnt work. the fish were absolutely tearing the shad balls to pieces. we put alot of fish in the boat but only had 30 minutes left when i caught our 5th keeper. if the weather holds up fairly well and we dont flood where we fished i see our bite getting even better i'm hoping we will see a similar bite on the rock in a few days' Quillback and Donna G

In fact about 15 minutes before this Carter somehow donated a war eagle to a tree limb 20' above the water. So if you're in owl creek and can reach it it's yours for the taking. Haven't we all made donations to above surface shrubbery and trees? It's the price of learning. I should have looked harder as I see now that spinnerbait Carter used has the typical "R" bend and not the twisted eye like on the Mann's Hank Parker. I have some Booyah's and I like them as well. Took me down memory lane though with my grandpa nonetheless. Daryk Campbell Sr
Champ188
Babler likes to give his guide clients brand new mouse-colored War Eagles and let them decorate weather vanes on top of boat docks with them. Donna G and Muddy Water
