eyedabassman Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Do any of you guys have a easy way to get rust off a 2" trailer ball. GNSfishing 1
fishinwrench Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Hook a trailer to it. Ron Burgundy and Muddy Water 2
Macsimus Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 WD-40 works pretty good for me. Spray it good, let it sit for a few seconds, and wipe it with a paper towel or rag. "There was a time that I didn't fish, but I cannot remember it."
Ham Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Wire brush or steel wool and then pull a trailer a time or two. If you use it fairly often, it will stay rust free. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
fishinwrench Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 I have very shiney balls, and one is bigger than the other !
skeeter Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 WD-40 has a new rust eliminator product out that just sprays on. Other than that, wire-brush, sandpaper and then put a good coating of marine grease on it and, when not in use, cover it with one of those trailer-ball covers.
OldMillRoad Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Rub some Naval Jelly on your ball then work it over with steel wool. fishingaddiction 1
moguy1973 Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Rub some Naval Jelly on your ball then work it over with steel wool. Yikes! Albiontiger_34 1 -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
mixermarkb Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 I know some people who would pay big $$ to have that done. Sickos. Lol
