Caught a couple of walleye today, this one that was in the 3 -4 lb. range and a 19 incher. They came home with me. One on the Ned, and one on a jig. Just bass fishing and picked them up accidentally.

Bass fishing was slow for me. My last weeks Ned fish were gone from their hangouts on the points, had to work the coves for fish. Caught 15, maybe 6 spots and the rest LM's (and one Mean). 4 keepers I think, biggest a 3 lb. LM, and a couple in the 2-2.5 range. Lost another 3 lb. fish at the boat. Even split between Ned and 3/8 jig with a twin tail trailer.

While bringing in a 14-15" spot to the boat, had a BIG brown fish chase him in trying to grab the Ned. That fish dwarfed the spot.

Surface temps 61-63. There are beds in the coves.

It rained on my butt half the day yesterday and was very cloudy for most of the rest of it AND YOU have the audacity to post a picture of you wearing sun gloves. That's low man, real low.

Sweet report as always and thanks for posting the mean mouth pic. How big do you think the Smallie was that was trying to steal the Ned from the Spot??? I just love encounters like that....awesome

Too bad that big Brownie didn't eat your Ned before the K got a hold of it. That Meanie looks to be in perfect condition, pretty fish. Those Wally fillets are going to be good.

I'm thinking 5 lbs., but you know how it is, they always look bigger in the water.

Like it when the walleye get around Big M. That is just almost out of Randy's reach. I believe we put a cut off on him of the mouth of Rock creek. Great Report

I think those Walters know about Randy's cutoff point. Donna and I caught two the other day including a 20-incher not 100 yards below Rock Creek.

Great report Quill and nice Sand Shark. Did it fight? :)

By gosh it does kinda look like a sand shark. Tastes better, though, assuming a sand shark isn't choice table fare.
