Wayne SW/MO passed away on April 25th.

George Wayne Kirtley lived in Rockaway Beach, Missouri and had been a member since the forum's creation.

I didn't know Wayne well but he did fish a few of our trout tournaments over the years.

His posts will be missed.

Very sad to hear this.

This forum is more than just a "forum" to me. It's a network of fishing buddies and fellas that I talk to frequently. A fishing family.

This forum has truely lost someone.

Rest in peace sir.

OMGoodness, so sorry to hear! I always loved Wayne's posts. Even though I never met him, I always felt a kinship with Wayne. God Bless him and his family!

He was a fun guy on here. I did notice he had not been active on here for a while. Prayers for his family.

I hate to hear that. I thought of Wayne about a month ago. I checked and saw he had been active on the forum the day before. I forgot to follow up with him.

Wayne and I fished together on War Eagle and on the King's. We had a mini Rodeo. Wayne, me, and Ozark Stream Hawk. We tent camped at the outfitter at Trigger Gap. It was a good time.

Wayne was a good guy with a full lifetime of experiences.

Rest In Peace. God Bless his family.

I met Wayne here and he was a great guy. I didn't get to spend a lot of time on the river with him but had many conversations and heard lots of great stories. He was one of the great ones. I will miss him dearly.

Rest in peace Wayne. Love you man.
