Just because I am bored and soaking upthe heating pad. If Table Rock has 45 thousand acres and missouri has a deer herd of one million, that would equate to 22 keeper bass per acre, seems doable. Of course do you compare the number of deer in mid summer or after rifle season to the number of keeper bass in march or the number left at the end when apparently every fisherman has kept his limit every day, but then you have to account for those fish that attained 15 inches during the year, so figuring in a floating constant of "i", and a standard deviation of.0.16 then the ultimate answer is 42. If you have kids who have made you sit through the hitch hikers guide to the galaxy while your brain shrinks you will understand that reference.

I followed pretty good until the standard deviations... Also might need to take into account, that's 45k surface acres

Good point, so if my math is correct, and most likely isnt, I have converted from surface acres to total acre feet, to gallons of water per 22 keeper bass at over 1 million gallons. As for the "i" that is my most hated mathematical symbol, and the 0.16, well I might have just made that up? Dang it now I have forgot which side, if there is a side, I was arguing for or against. Time to take my meds now.

I don't think most of us would get bunched up by a person keeping a fish or two for dinner that evening. The difference is that 1960's looking stringer shot. No way that was going to be well received.

I had heard the same this week about the eggs. Likely means we did not get a good spawn this spring. Even more reason not to slice up a bunch of bass.

The pro keep arguement is always down the line of as long as its legal, i can live with that because its his right according to the law. I agree with Dave on the 1960's looking stringer and am gonna take it one step further. I DON'T CARE HOW MANY IT TOOK TO CATCH THAT STRINGER OF FISH THE FACT IS THERE'S 9 ON THERE AND CREEL LIMIT IS 6!!!!! MDC puts out a guidelines and regulations manual every year I just wish more people would read it. Rick your friend is lucky he didn't get nailed for exceeding his daily creel limit because even if he didn't catch all 9 hes in possession of them.

Daily and Possession Limits

You may possess no more than the daily limit of any given species while you are on waters, or on the banks of waters, where daily limits for those species apply. Where only catch-and-release fishing is allowed, fish must be returned unharmed immediately to the water after being caught.

The possession limit is twice the statewide daily limit. Fish you take and possess must be kept separate or distinctly identifiable from fish taken by another person. If you are away from your catch, the device holding the fish must be plainly labeled with your full name and address.

I've been fishing the Rock since 81 and have witnessed the decline. The fish kill in the late 90's really hurt.

Got tons of 35mm pics that prove what this lake used to be.

I'm 100% c&r on all bass so they might hook up with me again.

Please don't keep any bass so they can be enjoyed by someone else, maybe YOU.

Well put hammer time. I couldn't agree more. There's not many of us left.
