Champ188 Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Got on the water at 6 a.m. and left it to the lake lice shortly after noon. Caught 15 total with 4 keepers. Fish were in 2 to 65 feet of water and caught them on everything from swimming a Fin to deadsticking a Ned. Did catch 4, including 3 of the keepers, out of one big pocket between Eagle Rock and Shell Knob. They were scattered from the mouth to two-thirds of the way back. Hope this helps. merc1997 Bo Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 yep champ, it sure helps anyone to just pull their hair out. bass are so scattered right now. i fished the dam area last night. we ended up with four nice keepers, but that was about all the bites we had, and they were from four different spots. one on a big worm, one on a sinko, one on a beaver, and one on a skirted jig. looks like we both have a solid pattern going. bo Champ188 1
Jerry Rapp Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 OMG, Champ fished on a Wednesday! Good for you! Champ188 1
Codywskeeter1521 Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Thanks champ for the report. It helps me bang my head against the wall lol. Wish these fish would make up there mind.
*T* Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Was fishing Pt 9 to Pt 12 all of last week. Rather than being scattered, bass & whites were stacked up on some secondary points. Could catch a dozen or so without moving much. Bite every cast when first arriving. Come back to same point 48 hours later and same deal. Some were busting but many were in the 15 to 35" range and very aggresive. Also big schools of kentuckys were concentrated off of the end of some of the deep boat docks. If you're not getting bit keep'a moving. 7 - 9:30 was best bite. As is always the case, some winds makes the difference, especially mid-day. Good luck out there. dtrs5kprs Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Don't give up too soon. Fished until 530 with the 10 year old. We were on them all day with the little rig. Everything from flat gravel to ledge rock to shallow square bill type water. Also hit some bonus tank gills. magicwormman and Codywskeeter1521 2
Ham Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 It's the heat and the extra expensive of a BassCat trip as well as diminishing returns. I can fish less expensively, more comfortably, and more productively out of my trout boat, canoe, and kayak. Champ188 1 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

Ham Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Champ, I basically gave up golf years ago when gasoline made the trip to crazy town prices. I could not afford fishing and golf. I was as good as I was going to get playing once a week and the fellas that I was playing with played three to four times a week. They were as crazy about golf as I was about fishing. So I wished them well and kept on fishing. magicwormman 1 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
