Members NianguaMark Posted June 13, 2015 Members Posted June 13, 2015 Ok so my first 2 cast I catch a keeper crappie and a small bass. I'm thinking this rig is the best thing to ever happen to fishing. I set my 9 year old son and 5 year old daughter up with ned rig. All using Berkley 8lb test. Well we fish for about an hour all of my dock we landed 2 more blue gill and a baby catfish lost 10 ned rigs and my son broke a pole. The ned rig hangs up on everything!!! Maybe I need to fish a different spot or I need to use stronger line because $15 worth of tackle and a broken pole isn't worth 1 keeper crappie
Old plug Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 well mark you might catch a few litte fush on that rig but you will not be doing anything like the post on this forum under no bass this week.

Once you figure it out you will find out that the Ned Rig is no better than any other lure worked properly. Just another tool in the bag. Members Omega jig bass Posted June 13, 2015 Members Posted June 13, 2015 The Ned rig is just a fad and will pass. But like old plug said its just another tool. Old plug and Ham 2
Old plug Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 I did not say that Mitch did. He is more reserved than I am I do believe. I would have called it a sales gimmick with all the claims and what have you.
Chief Grey Bear Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Well at any rate, it'll be me that gets blamed for bashing the Ned. fishinwrench Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 I wanna bash it BAD but I'm afraid to. Every time I claim something is total BS I end up dependant on it in the end. Just watch....In a few years I'll have a 4-stroke outboard that runs on Seafoam, my daughter will be a biologist, and my best friend will be a cop. Never fails! nomolites Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 AND you will leave the dock with nothing but an assortment of Ned offerings... (That is a scary thought....)
