A big Thank You to Dave for helping me out with uploading photos. I used to be able to download them to my computer and than to the forum. Oh well, now the rest of the story......................

I took my bride fishing yesterday at 6 A.M. I told her they always bite during a light drizzle....................wrong...................zip..................nota.........nothing. To make matters worse the drizzle turned into a downpour and my stock went down by the minute. Soaking wet and no fish!

I got the urge to fish around 6 P.M. and tried to convince my wife we should try again. She did give it some thought and politely said no, you go ahead and have fun. I went to the exact spot that we fished in the A.M. and it was game on.......................20 to 30 feet deep. It was a hit or a fish on every drop with a white spoon. I quickly called my wife to ask her to join the fun and she said, thanks anyway, you just enjoy yourself. The very next drop the big girl hit and gave me a awesome fight. After landing the big girl I put her in the live well and called the wife back; informed her that I needed her for a photo. She quickly met me at the dock, took a couple of pics and I released the big girl. We went back to the spot and first drop was a short fish, but the second drop I caught a twin to the first fish. Yes, I did put my wife on a few fish, before the action stopped. She caught the action shot, which is incredible, no more fish than I catch (she may have a future as a cameraman).

Just when I thought there weren't any big bass left in our beautiful lake................bingo. If you look closely, you will see both tails are bloody and the one fish appears to still have eggs. All fish caught were released to be caught another day.

Thought I saw a spoon stuck in one of them. Nice work. I guess the new graph was well worth it.

That right there is why you have to give those 15" fish a chance. Pretty sure they were both 15" at some point.

Awesome job and great catches. Good to see you can still get on some bigger fish this time of year. Thanks for the report.

Awesome pics. Nice trip. White spoons, eh? Who would have thought? As I've said before this forum is very educational.

Thanks for the info.

That darn white spoon can produce some big bites.

What a difference a day makes! When out tonight...................same spot................same depth..............same bait...................nothing.................0....................nada......................not one bite. I guess that's why it's called fishing. I feel very blessed to have one trip a year with action like I had last night and it's nice to know that there is still a few big fish around.
