Nope, they are all short barreled pistols, riot style shotguns and assault style toy .22's.

I hear him "practicing" just up the road from here and I think his goal is to see how hot he can get the barrels.

Never shoots once or twice.... When he starts firing he doesnt stop until he emptys the magazine everytime.

Irritating. I just wanna smack him with a 2x4.

What is it about owning a pistol that scares everyone? I shoot pistols most of all. I sight in rifles and use them when I need them, shotguns are fired when bird hunting, but pistols are for fun and other stuff. I have carried a pistol around since before I could drive and practice enough to do well with it.

I, as well as several family members and buddies have hunted with handguns for more years than weve hunted with rifles. Not to be a jerk, but it sounds luke your a city boy with no knowledge of firearms. Read, gain wisdom, go to a shooting range with an instructor, and open your eyes. You sound pretty nieve.

In general they are just tools that will function same way every time, and many people are unreasonably scared of them. But if I'd give you that POS Erma 22lr ppk clone I mentioned earlier, doing everything right but with no prior knowledge of this particular gun's problems, you'd have unintentional discharges no matter how good you're training is. What is also true though, many people that I've met or know, CCW or not, own a gun they're not all that familiar with.

Things we carry all the time are most subject to slip-ups. Everybody is "careful" with their cell phones, they are expensive and break rather easily.....but who here hasn't dropped or misplaced theirs multiple times?

We are real familiar with them too, get plenty of practice handling them.

Of course, self-defense with firearms NEVER happens...

Former CNN Anchor After Self-Defense Shooting: “If you don’t want to carry please don’t. Then, shut the f--- up about it.”

Last week we shared the harrowing story of former CNN Headline News anchor Lynne Russell and husband Chuck de Caro, who exercised their right to armed self-defense to stop a gun-wielding robber who forced his way into their Albuquerque, N.M. motel room. Espousing a straightforward logic that even gun control supporters should be able to grasp, Russell stated, “If you don’t want to carry please don’t. Then, shut the f--k up about it. Make your own decisions.” Both Russell and de Caro are Right-to-Carry permit holders, and in an interview with Fox News following the shooting Russell had some choice words for anyone that would deprive them of the right to bear arms.

Espousing a straightforward logic that even gun control supporters should be able to grasp, Russell stated, “If you don’t want to carry please don’t. Then, shut the f--k up about it. Make your own decisions.”

Russell elaborated on her pro-gun position stating, “The discussion over the debate to own a gun is just ridiculous. As Americans we have the right to bear arms and as humans the right to protect ourselves. I’m sure that the man who shot my husband did not have a gun permit. Criminals will always have guns. The rest of us legally obtain our gun permits.”

Men and Fish are alike....They all get into trouble when they open their mouths....
