Sorry QB my bad. I completely missed the " + 1" part of it.

Someone at icast is coming out with a 110+1 jerk. I forget who though. It's in the list of videos on TW.

Dang it, Ham, pay attention! You can't be napping around here.

Also Berkley, the Cutter 110+ and Skinny Cutter 110+.

Better pic of the lip angle. Not exactly wart-ish. Looks more like an old Bagley's bait. Still hard to tell on body width. Good colors though. No doubt it will work somewhere, not sure it will fill the wart niche.

Digging that Vintage Craw color. You're right though, doesn't really look much like a wart, not that it will stop me from buying some I'm sure.

Picked some of the berkleys up during the TW sale. Good colors, interesting body. Lip angle  is reminiscent of the old Cordell deep big O, but is wide up front like a wart. Other big difference is the coffin shape of the lip. Looks good for the $.

There were some great discussions of what it takes to make a bait hunt back in the old days of Tackle Underground (early 2000's). Hughesy would remember those. It is very hard to do intentionally, especially in a factory plastic bait.

A lot of the wart mystique grew because they were basically not built right, or consistently, and it made them treasured fish catchers. Like a woman with a tiny scar in just the right place.

Time will tell on these. Hard to see much of the lip angle and belly shape. Fritts is not the first guy that comes to mind when thinking of cranking Ozark lakes.

I agree on the inconsistencies, one of the best new baits that hunts and deflects extremely well is the Live Target HFC. I think it's got kind of a flat nose that produces a knuckle ball effect.

Mitch...I think that Koppers bait is the closest of all the "new wart types" to hitting the wart action right. Unfortunate color selection, dicey availability, and a company with a rep for gimmicky baits have not helped it.

It doesn't help that the Live Target HFC is $13.50 each either.
