vernon Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 good thing you didn't reach down to clean it up ! No kiddin'! Actually, my sister in law took that picture a couple of years ago when we were down. She called me and my brother over and "I think there's something wrong with this snake. He looks sick." And with that, she started to reach down to touch him! After we pulled her away and explained what the heck it was she STILL insisted on getting close enough to take the dang picture. Right after she snapped the photo the snake crawled slowly off into the weeds. And didn't look sick either. Man, I hate those things! "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups." vernon Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Vernon. You picture looks like a pile of poo at first glance. Ha Hadn't thought of it like that but guess that's cause I was there to see it. There wasn't any mistaking that rascal at the time from my perspective either! Glad I didn't step in/on it! fishinwrench Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Won't super glue work instead of welding them together? Maybe but it might make for a stiff core down the center. Whaddaya got against fire? It's cheap.
Old plug Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 I am going to try to get somewhere when I am up in St. Louis Saturday. With french fry I had always wished it would have been closer to 5 inches long rather than 4. I think I will feel the same about the centipede.

You know someone should make one like that (and maybe it's already out there). I'd be interested in that bait. Zoom did something similar with their finesse worm and made the "Mag" finesse worm, not longer but bigger in diameter. Also anyone tried the "Z-3" worms from Zoom? http://zoombait.com/2015/06/zoom-launches-its-first-hand-poured-worm/ "Water is the driving force of all Nature." -Leonardo da Vinci
Old plug Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Well Champ that is just great Now I got to go look if and find out what a Z-3 is. Not that I do not have a locker full of lures. Only thing is they or of limited types. My drop shoting is done on 12 lb test mono with O/5 hooks andlarge plastic worms or magun brush hogs.
