If you're setting the hook with the Ned rig, you're doing it wrong. Its more like reeling down on the fish to get tension & letting the fish hook itself. However, I still got tennis elbow from the braid. I stopped using braid & the problem went away. I would suggest going back to copolymer, hybrid or floro.

Either way, this treatment sounds good.

Maybe I should sue Z Man as well since I catch so many more fish than before since changing over to their products. It's the sheer volume of hooksets as well as the extra stress of the hookset. I am an unapologetic numbers guy though so....

I just got my new rod rigged up yesterday.

I noticed how slender the new grips are.

While at first glance they look cool and probably save weight.

I don't like it.

It's hard to explain but my hand has to be flexed a lot more to hold it than a thick grip like my old rods.

Could this be causing some fatigue because they are so slender?

Joke taken, but I'm not small and I'm no sissy. This elbow thing hurt me bad. If something like this can set me back from lifting, working outside, and even fishing, then I figure it probably bothers a lot of folks.

Hey.

I smell what you're stepping in.

Just kidding.
