Try a google search for the Angler's Art.  I found it enjoyable to watch, but also educational for fly tying.  Here is a link for some of season four. http://www.nwptv.org/watch-video/fly-tying/season-four/

I was really hoping that this link would work, mic.  I used to like to sit and watch these guys tie flies and talk.  The link that I had stopped working.  Your link takes me to the page, but the links to the videos don't work. :(

I realized it after I posted, but I see a bunch of them on you tube.  As normal... ask Dr. Google.

His father touches the Claw in spite of Kevin's warnings and breaks two legs just as a thunderstorm tears the house apart. Kevin runs away with the Claw. He becomes captain of the Greasy Bastard, a small ship carrying rubber goods between England and Burma. Michael Palin, Terry Jones, 1974

Ham I with you some tying is just a chore I keep it as simple as possible. For stone flies I carry two different patterns the Pat's rubber leg and the 20 incher stone both are heavy and simple to tie that's good because I lose a lot of them. One or the other always seems to get the job done if you wanted to keep it even simpler you could even skip the 20 incher and just tie a big prince nymph instead.

Over the years I have acquired some pretty cool tying skills, but almost all of it is wasted.  The patterns that catch 99% of my fish are so stupid easy that a drunken blind person could tie them.
