Guest Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 I would rather lose my phone than lose my pet wart, they're like gold. Plus, nobody can bother me when my phone is at the bottom of the lake.

Went out for 2 hours today. Caught a total of 19 with the largest in the 4-5lb range. All spotted bass. All caught on spoons. Absolutely fabulous fishing. Same pattern as described in previous postings. I dont know when it will stop, but it has been great. I can only hope most of you are enjoying the great fishing this lake has to offer. If you are catching 4 and 5 pound K's you are really doing it right. Keep up the good fish catchin. Have not seen that size of K being caught in quite a while. Gives me lots of hope. magicwormman Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 I also am catching them on a spoon in 25 to 30 feet of water on the James, but mine are in the 1 to 3 lb range and mostly Kentuckys. I have fished the Rock for 43 years and never seen a 5 lb spot. BearFisher10 and Champ188 2
huntest Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 I caught this spot last week on a spoon. I did not weigh her but my best spot to date ? magicwormman 1
gitnby Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 I had one on a spoon last week that I never got into the boat, and I'm sure it was pushin 4#. Might be the biggest I've ever seen on this lake? Funny thing is, he hit it right after the drop, in no more than 6-8 FOW next to a bridge pier. magicwormman and dtrs5kprs 2
Champ188 Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 I caught one on a blade last winter that was pushing the heck out of 4 pounds. That's my biggest from TR. I did catch a 4-13 at Bull Shoals many years ago while fishing with former BASS pro and Ranger public relations guy Jim Nolan. magicwormman and Fish24/7 2
