MOPanfisher Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Be sitting at at a gravel bar campfire, my shoes still damp from fishing that last hole before making camp, with my grandson, my son and any other family members that care to go. Listening to the creek gurgle past the canoes. Belly full, campfire burning down and know that my love of life and outdoors has been passed on. And that my son is a man who will stand tall and proud as he goes through lifes challenges. After that I am gonna get a cold beer at Hooters.

You will be happy when you hit 65. You make $800 a week before TAXES, INSURANCE, etc. $40,000 a year. Pretty good if you listen to the media. marcus 1
jdmidwest Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 After my little Jolt in November, I have already had all of those thoughts. Now with my second chance, realizing that I am 52 and not bulletproof and waiting quarterly for the next 5 years for some feller to verify that his cuts got all of the cancer, life has a new perspective. Keep doing what I was doing. Exactly what I was doing with one little exception. I now realize there is no need to sweat the little stuff. I am the luckiest man in the world, how can I do better than that? I have my health again, my family and friends, and I can still do everything that I did before. I don't need anything more than that. Deadstream, marcus, tho1mas and 3 others 6 "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson

By a crock pot.. Put a chunk of frozen hamburger meat with a little water, veggies, a few spices. You'll have a hot meal when you get home. marcus 1 "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
