If you check the BPS WEB-SITE you will see they show 6 " NEW & EXCLUSIVE " colors for 2016. If my memory serves me right in 2015 they had 4 " NEW & EXCLUSIVE " colors. Guess maybe it's going to be a yearly thing. Looking @ all of the 6 new colors ( REAL LIFE IN THE STORE NOT PICTURES ) IMO QUACHITA CRAW has the best chance of being swallowed by one of TABLE ROCK'S  4 species of bass waiting on you out there.

Wiggle warts on sale at BPS right now for $3.97. My choice would Phantom green/purple belly. I know it catches fish.

Bill, when I first came down to Table Rock in 1980, I was told that the V 38 Green Craw and V 37 Brown Craw were the two bait colors/patterns to buy for Table Rock. Makes some sense to me, that when you are fishing the clearer waters from point 9 to the dam, that the Phantom Colors would be most effective. Fishing in  more off-colored water like the Kings or the James River, do you stick with those colors, or do you throw a V 37 Brown Craw, V 209 Red Nat Craw, or even a V 45 Spring Craw or V 74 Fire Tiger? Michigan waters are usually very clear, similar to Table Rock, and I have used a lot of the techniques I have learned from from the great Table Rock fisherman here, for some great days on the water in Michigan. The Rock Crawler seems to be similar to the Mag Wart as far as length and depth go, but I rarely hear anyone using them here. I did see Brandon Palaniuk throwing it some on a Bull Shoals Elite tournament. I've had some success with the Mag AV 74 when the wind was blowing hard, but the fish were hanging out a little deeper on the point. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge.

V38 isn't green craw anymore, its gold craw. Unfortunately, storm can't get it right. Last fall, the old school V38 caught them good.

When in doubt, paint them yourself or send them to Tim Hughes.

Just got off the phone with Beck.  He said in 98 or 99 he could not remember which year, Bassmaster had an open here and Mark at Table Rock Tackle and Marine sold 5,600,   V86 and V38 warts in about a 4 week period of time.  Dudes, that's close to 1,500 warts a week walking out the door.

I tried to look up the schedule of 98 thru 2001, and could not find it.  It was a Spring tournament.

Only other time when I can think of sales going thru the roof, was Mark Davis and the wobble head.   They just went off the market for 2 months you just could not find them.  Totally gone.

Remember reading that in BASS Times or Bassmaster. Sold a crazy lot of hula grubs too. Thought it might have been 97, but it could have been later. There was a March or early April BASS tmt in there that a resort owner from another lake won up the White. Seems like he was a Beaver lake guy.

The first year Mark bought the tackle shop, he sold around 1600 purple and chartreuse rogues that I painted up. Sammy, the previous owner sold some for $60 each. Unreal!!! This was before pradco had that color and it was very hot color on Table Rock. The old rogue was the only stickbait around at the time. No Lucky Craft or Megabass.

I remember when he (both actually) had them in the little spinning case, like a watch display case. Also had your "half and half" warts with the 2 different colors in there, maybe even a Boing and HT.

Not that I loiter around tackle shops much...

I donated a bunch of half and half warts to the central pro am as give away prizes that year . Dave Barker won them. I guess he knew what to do with them.

Good grief, that's a lot like giving compound bows to a band of Apaches.
