I know they have been around awhile and I am sure people here use some of their baits, but they are seriously crud. Yes that includes the Table Rock Hall of Fame representative, the Redfin. Just look at how temperamental those dumb things are and how different one is from the next. CC is one company I never even have a thought about purchasing.

dtrs5kprs Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 It's pretty similar to a Megabass Cyclone. You can find those on eBay.

The cotton cordell super spot is one of the best lipless crankbaits of all time (it runs the shallowest) I personally haven't used a Wiggle O, so I cant defend it. I just think these 2 aforementioned lures look like it. The alphabet series of square bills have been good to me over the years. The smaller square bill is killer on river bass in the summertime. As for the Redfin, I cant get it to run right either. But that's operator error since I have no clue about fishing topwater wake baits. Seriously, in shallow grassy lakes I've caught so many 20-25lb bags on a chrome & black 1/2 oz cordell super spot that it laps any other bait. This is strictly a pre-spawn cold water deal though.

It is a small top water bait with props at both ends. I've had great success over the years with this one. Mike

That's fine. I am sure their baits work at times but they just aren't going to get my money with the quality, or lack there of, that they put out. They are a cheaply made bait, with crap paint, hooks and I wouldn't trust them to have the eyelets to be ripped from the plastic. A lipless crank isn't exactly a hard bait to get to run right since it is as basic as it comes and they are typically sinkers anyhow. I would rather pay a couple more bucks for a Rattle Trap or Red Eye Shad but to each their own.

Mike the single prop crazy shad will catch my biggest smallmouth of the year during august, every year. Its a dollar bin lure at walmart. sure I gotta replace the hooks & split rings, but that bait flat out triggers big bass.
