I'm predicting that it's over unless he falls out of the boat and drowns. He knows he should've won in 2013. He'll get it done this time. They are spotting him almost 6lbs tomorrow. Unless he can't find any fish he should have this wrapped up. Place went nuts when he weighed in tonight. abkeenan, Quillback, Champ188 and 1 other 4 -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
willyfish Posted March 6, 2016 Author Posted March 6, 2016 Evers is working on a big bag, should be interesting
Sore Thumbs Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 This is great to watch. Christie is flustered after hearing about Evers sack. It could help or hurt him. He might go to his big fish haunts.

That guy that told Christie that Evers had a big bag is kind of a douche, but whatever. 29lbs. Has to be 3rd or 4th biggest 5 fish bag in the Classic... His 60lbs 7oz is 3rd biggest Classic weight ever and 2nd biggest under the 5 fish limit rules. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
Sore Thumbs Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 If that guy was Christies buddy he may have been letting him know he was behind. It's a 2 fold deal. On one hand it screwed him up. On the other Christie may know some big fish haunts from past experience and that info gave him time to run those spots. If the guy didn't know Christie and was an Evers fan that truly sux.
Sore Thumbs Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Evers might be a great guy but he seems to be a bit of a whiner from what I've seen on tv. He gets on my nerves on MLF when he grunts and breathes real heavy on every single fish. Christie seems to be a good guy and more down to earth. I was hoping he would win it but hats off to Edwin for making a great comeback. I really enjoyed Bass Live. wdberkley 1
Quillback Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Just an amazing last day for Evers. Didn't see the live action as I went fishing myself, but I hear Evers caught them on a jig. I'm curious as to jig size/color and what the trailer was.

I bet if you watch tackle warehouse you'll know right away what jig he used. It will be the next silver bullet that we are all missing.
