Al, our prayers for you and Mary! Susie is a two time breast cancer survivor and is mighty tough. Growing up with the brother's that Mary has,I know she is tough enough to handle it too! As Smallie and others have stated, you both must stay positive and focus on Mary's health and recovery.

Hoping and praying for both of you.

I just wanted to thank everybody again...3 months out from radiation and chemo, exams and scans this week show ALL CLEAR!! Mary is cancer-free, and it's "very, very likely" that it will NOT recur. Hurrah!

Great news!, shows the importance of regular check ups and screenings to detect things early enough to nip it quickly.

good care is very important. They have made some advances also in radiation treatment. I went thru 8 weeks of it myself this year . I have not had my 12 week test yet. But they tested me 3 weeks after they were done and There was none. A good doctor will  deal with things early and will not wait and say "let's see what what developers.

That is great.  Another cancer success story is always great to hear.  I am cancer free now for over 9 months and healed up nicely.  Cancer is not always a death sentence anymore.

My cousin has been diagnosed with laryngeal cancer and is awaiting treatment.  I hope for the best for him and anyone else going thru it.
