I always seem to have several small nasal spray bottles with (basic saline spray 98 cents full) laYing around empty.  Pop off the top and remove the little tube.  Fill it with your favorite scent and you can drip/ooze it out with a small squeeze.  Fits it about any pocket, I have used it for anise and some sort of liquid crawdad stuff, works great.  Like champ there only one or two times I can point to and say it made a difference, one of them was trolling crank baits and catching walleye and whites while my buddy and two of his boys had nothing.  They even made fun of me, wasn't long befor the boys had their lures in my face to be juiced and promptly started catchinf fish.  Some is confidence for sure.

I have a few nasal spray bottles lying around too. I'm afraid if I do the same thing, I'll get home and empty my pockets on my dresser, wake up half asleep at night and need to clear my nostrils and see the bottle on my dresser and think "oh there's my nasal spray....." SQUIRTTTT!!!

Might not want to do this in tight jeans, but here's hoping most of us don't dress like that anyway. :)

I only dress that way because I love cheeseburgers!! They aren't supposed to be skinny jeans.

Men in skinny jeans and flat billed hats drive me crazy.

If you take the little tube out it will only work upside down, and it won't spray out like the thinner nasal spray, at least the stuff I've used won't.

Don't most of the plastic baits nowadays already have scent impregnated into them so why add any more scent? Wouldn't any added liquid scent wash away as soon as it hit the water and was retrieved?

Don't even get me started on skinny jeans and big flipper shoes the "hipsters" wear.  I have jobs in New Jersey and New York and all the young guys wear them.   Bunch of sissy's if you ask me.

Yes, they don't last very long. Gels are better

I like the "Rugged" Urban Beardsmen with man buns, who've never changed a flat tire. Unfortunately I will have to give up my daughters to these sissys one day, not looking forward to it.

My buddy Jeb used to use scent all the time when we fished together and we never noticed any difference in catch rates between scent and no scent - I never used any.  But it did lead to him catching catfish!

I should have tried some the other day when the bass would tap the wobble head, but drop it.  Would've made for a good test, but they did start biting it better later, had I put some scent on I would have said it was the scent that got them to bite better.  But then again, I was using a Strike King Structure Bug which has built in coffee scent.

This kind of stuff is what makes bass fishing so much fun, trying to figure out what they want.

I have some Smelly Jelly Craw scent - it really has a strong smell, I'm going to start putting some on the plastics and see if it makes a difference.  I tell you though, I have never smelled a crawfish that smells as nasty as that Jelly, as a matter of fact, I really don't detect much if any odor on a craw at all.  Of course you don't want to put your nose on one and risk getting pinched.  :D

I was going to say the same thing, but from the other bench. I still have scents in the front of my boat, ready to go. But after many, many trips with Quillback not using scents or dies and our catch rate not being noticeably better with one or the other, I very rarely use them. Been a LONG time since I've opened either container, actually.

My oldest called me one day with a flat tire. I was busy at the time so she called her boyfriend. He came and picked her up but didn't/wouldn't/couldn't change the tire. She doesn't have that boyfriend anymore.

The first time I actually met my middle daughter's boyfriend he was wearing a flat billed cap. I showed him how to curve the bill properly. He doesn't wear hats to my house anymore.

Don't give in too easily.
