cheesemaster
Launched at 6:00 am this morning. Water temp was 59 and the warmest water I found was 62.7 in the back of coves. Caught 41 fish total - most were 12" or so and had 7 keepers. All the keepers were 15.5 - 17" so nothing very big. Caught most of the fish before 10:30 am on a black and blue jig and a 4" worm on a rocker head. Caught a couple on a spinnerbait and a couple on a Wiggle Wart. Sorry no pics today. Forgot my phone at the house. merc1997 Bo, Quillback and magicwormman

merc1997 Bo
i think you were on the right track in concentrating on other lures than a crankbait. seems as though that bite is over with until after spawn. could be wrong, but has always been the norm over the years. bo dtrs5kprs, 176champion and cheesemaster
SplitG2
Good job Cheese. How deep were you getting bit on the jig? Thanks Dave
cheesemaster
Most were right on the bank. Flatter than 45 degree banks with larger chunk rock and halfway back in coves. Deepest fish came out of like 8 feet of water. Didn't get bit more than 10 feet from the bank. SplitG2 and marcus

cheesemaster
Thanks Ketchup - 2 little shorts on the spinnerbait - they just didn't want it. Ketchup
Bill Babler
Great Job Cheese Close to 40 fish on a jig is just super. My guys threw a blade on Saturday till it changed from Bronze to Silver and never had a touch on it. Champ and Fish figured out the blade bite. Really our best deal also was the jig, just not near the numbers you had. Thanks for the report. As usual, someone somewhere is catching them. cheesemaster and crazy4fishin 2 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
