Stuff can be replaced as it is just stuff; you and your loved ones on the other hand are irreplaceable.

I think the funniest thing about that deal is that we had some chickens...   One rooster (Clyde) managed to survive. During the clean-up afterwards ol'Clyde literally tried to kill us all.  He was one mad sumbitch!  You'd start a chainsaw or pick up a shovel and he'd blindside you in the head.   Several folks were anxious to lend a hand but we're reluctant/scared.   They'd say, "Man I wanna help in any way I can.....but we need to do something about that #%&@*n Rooster first".  I didn't have the heart to shoot him, so  It took 4 of us 3 days to capture him and escort him out of town.

Tornado warnings over by Topeka this evening, 4-26.  If that storm was visible to me I WOULD HAVE BEEN HIDING SOMEPLACE.  I have never been through one and it is to late in my life to want to.   I drove through the Joplin are about 2 weeks after that one hit.  I seen a lot of things in my 62 years. But that scared the crap out of me.  No thank you, they could to D.C. and clean house if they wanted to, wouldn't bother me much.
