Has anyone  thrown the 30, 40 or 50 in the SPRO  BBZ-1 Rat???

I just picked a few and tossed them around down at the river at the boat ramp and all I keep saying  to myself is oh my....this thing has serious potential  and is quite versatile in what you can do with it.....I will have some fun with this bait for sure :)

The hooks look borderline too small for the bait, do you get the same feeling when you're holding it?

I have one in that same color.  Threw it for about 10 casts on Beaver yesterday, got two fish to swirl at it, neither touched it.  It wakes well at slow speed, has a great looking swimming action, and has a deep kind of wood sounding knock.  I'm sure it will catch fish, but is it better than old reliable, the Redfin?

I love using the rat. I've caught a lot if nice fish with the 50. Been using the 30 here lately. Caught a few but nothing to brag about yet.

Does this have a hard or soft body? It would seem like a great night fishing topwater bait for brown trout.

I thought the same thing...needs hooks twice that size.

Although....compared to all the other jitterbugs with power worms glued to the back, I mean, rat baits. that one is a steal at only 25 bucks.
