Not sure who it was but the leader, first to take off in period 2 stayed put in pb2 area along with another boat. Not sure what they are doing, I got there late after first period. They keep it pretty much a hush hush deal not wanting boats following them around.

Guys keep your Southern Cousins informed.  Be nice to know how they are working the lake now.  Just talked to Big Ed's guide service and he said it was hot and slick.  They had 5 nice keeps early on a Pop-R and a wacky rig behind docks, but he said it is getting tougher as the morning goes on.  He said yesterday he had a client catch two 5 pounders on back to back pitches behind a dock in the way back of a pocket in less than 2 ft. of water.  Sometimes the very back end and the last shallow dock on the channel side of those LOZ pockets hold fish in surprisingly shallow water.  That is a very good pattern up there.

Monster bags are being caught deep on bluff ends and mainlake points. It's basically taken 23-25 lbs to win for the last 3 or 4 weeks. Big jigs, big worms, magnum shakey heads, swimbaits, 6xd's...

Glad to hear some nice fish are still shallow cause I sure as hell don't know how to consistently catch them deep. I've pretty much decided I'm ready to pay a guide to show me the deep post spawn deal next year.

Should be interesting to see what they do, if a guy were to get on the wave breaks catching 12 inch Ks could add up pretty quickly

One of my favorites. Learned it watching and talking to an old timer named Basil Bacon. Heckuva stick on that lake. And a super nice guy.

Champ, Basil Bacon is a name out of the past, cut from the old school before all the electronics. Thanks for bringing a smile to my memory bank.

I wonder if they are limited to a section of the lake each day or if they have the whole run of the lake?

Pretty sure I ran into one of their "scouts" yesterday.  Older guy in a real nice new truck and and older beater boat, Oklahoma tags.   Recognizing me as a local he sure had alot of questions.

I have been having some pretty good evenings lately, basically running the aforementioned "Bacon pattern", although I always assumed it was a Wrench pattern :)
