Chief Grey Bear Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 Some of you old heads will remember that name. Hey caused a great big stink a few years ago on a local fishing stream. He caused a lot of trouble for a lot of people besides me. I took a float this afternoon with an old friend of mine on the same river but not anywhere near his property. And about 3/4 of the way through the float as we were going by a campground, I had noticed three women and a man sitting on a golf cart. I thought nothing of it and just continue to leisurely float by. Then I heard somebody call my name. I looked over at them and he says "Are you Britt?" Now mind you I haven't seen this man in probably five years I guess. I was impressed that not only did he recognize me but he remembered my name. I guess I made quite an impression. At any rate I pulled over and went up to meet him. He was very cordial and we had a super great conversation. We both apologized to one another for the earlier confrontations. And we had a couple of doozies! But I wanted to let you all know that I thought it was very gracious of him to do what he did. He didn't have to say a word and I could have floated right on by not even knowing who he was. I was very humbled by the fact that he took the time to call me over, shake my hand and put all of this behind us. And I wanted to share this great moment with you guys that knew of the situation. I have a new appreciation for human kindness. dtrs5kprs, Buzz, Brian Jones and 10 others 13 Chief Grey Bear Living is dangerous to your health Owner Ozark Fishing Expeditions Co-Owner, Chief Executive Product Development Team Jerm Werm Executive Pro Staff Team Agnew Executive Pro Staff Paul Dallas Productions Executive Pro Staff Team Heddon, River Division Chief Primary Consultant Missouri Smallmouth Alliance Executive Vice President Ronnie Moore Outdoors

Buzz Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 That's interesting. I hope he's given up rousting other floaters and has seen the light. Daryk Campbell Sr and Chief Grey Bear 2 If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
