Some of you old heads will remember that name. Hey caused a great big stink a few years ago on a local fishing stream. He caused a lot of trouble for a lot of people besides me.

I took a float this afternoon with an old friend of mine on the same river but not anywhere near his property. And about 3/4 of the way through the float as we were going by a campground, I had noticed three women and a man sitting on a golf cart.

I thought nothing of it and just continue to leisurely float by. Then I heard somebody call my name. I looked over at them and he says "Are you Britt?"

Now mind you I haven't seen this man in probably five years I guess. I was impressed that not only did he recognize me but he remembered my name. I guess I made quite an impression.

At any rate I pulled over and went up to meet him. He was very cordial and we had a super great conversation. We both apologized to one another for the earlier confrontations. And we had a couple of doozies!

But I wanted to let you all know that I thought it was very gracious of him to do what he did. He didn't have to say a word and I could have floated right on by not even knowing who he was.

I was very humbled by the fact that he took the time to call me over, shake my hand and put all of this behind us.

And I wanted to share this great moment with you guys that knew of the situation. I have a new appreciation for human kindness.

That's interesting. I hope he's given up rousting other floaters and has seen the light.

If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
