Quillback
Launched at about 0545, with some clouds and distant thunder. Remained cloudy all morning with a couple of breaks of sun and some rain, spend about 20 minutes of prime early AM fishing time sitting in a dock stall out of the rain. The bass were biting today, not a hot bite, but I could get one every once in a while dragging a football jig through timber and rocks. Most fish were in the 10-15 foot range, part way back in the coves. Caught a dozen with 4 keepers, about half on a GP colored jig and the other half on black/blue. Got an 18" smallie and a 3 lb. LM for my big fish of the day. One keeper came on a top water. Didn't try any deep water spooning or drop shotting. Saw surface water temps of 88. rps
Over the years, you have built yourself an awesome milk run. Well done. Every time I thought about going to the boat another line of rumbly tumblies came through. I don't do that in a tin boat. huntest
merc1997 Bo
that is not a bad day at all. very nice bass and healthy looking. goes to show that many of the bass are really not very deep for this time of the year. bo

Sprint21fter
The upper white from Viney to Eagle Rock has kicked out alot of good fish this year. Club member told me that certain sections of the lake every year seems to be better than others. Champ188
