That makes three on this side of the lake between Branson West and Kimberling Cit -   the other two - Ozark Thunder off of James River Rd and Extreme behind Urichs.  No more trips to BPS???

That Extreme tackle place had a pretty solid selection of good stuff when i went in there.  Couldnt believe all the keitechs they had!  From what i saw they had a good selection of all the goodies one might need for a table rock trip.

That place did always have a strange sorta vibe going on.  Like walking into a gas station in extreme rural missouri...the 4 people in there all appear to be related, and only 1 of them is actually "at work".  They all just kinda stare in painfully awkward silence....Get your beverage and snacks (something that is 100% sealed and prepackaged), gas up and get out.

That is priceless!  And, pretty danged accurate I might add!

Yep. I went in twice. Once with my wife and once with my brother. Both times felt very unwelcome. First time browsed around but felt like I was being watched the entire time - like I was a shoplifter. Second time I asked about some specific jig trailers I was looking for and thought I was an extra in Good Fellas. Guy looked at a couple of other guys that were hangin' out (obviously regulars) and they all started laughing like I asked if they could give me directions to the moon. Walked out and never went back. Good riddance I say.

Yea they were definitely not very hospitable, but it was the only tackle shop in the area that I knew of. Guess I'll have to check out this new place when we get down there on Saturday.

Owner Kelly Power knows fishing in general --- and especially Table Rock --- as well as anyone.

In Extreme just once to browse around, told the guy I liked a lighter ned jig head than they had and he said he would get it - very friendly.

just got back from visiting Cletus's Tackle Box and had the pleasure of meeting owner Terry Lewis.  he is friendly as they come and is busy getting inventory in to fit your fishing needs.  it will be an easy, nearly one stop, to fuel up and get your needed fishing items at the same time.

Terry will also soon have a great stock of NuTech Products on the shelf.  i would suggest to anyone to stop by and get acquainted with Terry and his family and enjoy the great friendly customer service.

Was in there 2 days ago they do have live bait.

also he showed me the NuTech jigs that he had, have not seen any up close.  He seemed like he has a winner with this jig.

He is building the inventory slowly, to make sure, in my opinion, to have what fishermen want.

Well I went and checked out Cletus and Extreme - Cletus Tackle Box is a nice store with just a few items but growing and he does have minnows etc. Nice chatty guy - and I did buy his first Nu Tech's from him - at least that is what he told me :]  Bo put in a nice starter selection

I think tha he will do well - Dave I did tell him that he needed your product in his store and gave him your information.

Extreme is a nice place with a ton of inventory for only being open 10 weeks! Had a good conversation with the Manager, a great down to earth kind - Ex BPS guy....interesting scenario....while at BPS he was the fly guy but no fly stuff in the shop and now he sells Bass stuff but doesn't fish anymore! I guess in some crazy universe that works

OK - back to fishing
