17 bass two guys????pretty  typical for Missouri  meat hunters but, they could be within  the guise of the laws set up by our wonderful MDC and they would know better  than anybody about how many bass we should keep. ....so kill em all. Everyone  should be allowed  to take home a mess a bass fishing with bait....why should we be limited  to just Five????I mean if we bought a darn license and yer a true blooded Missourian you should be able keep however many you can catch on some minnows

I wouldn't call it typical for meat hunters but I would call it typical for poachers. It's sickening to see. And you can't lay this at the feet of the MDC. Do we blame police officers for crimes? Acts like this are squarely placed on the perpetrator.

For people like this, it doesn't matter what the regulations are. And even if you had 10 agents per county, you can't patrol every mile of water. But we all can be eyes and ears and pass on info.

How do you know they were poaching  Brit????

How many anglers caught those fish in what time frame??? Aren't  we allowed 5 bass every 24 hours on virtually  every  drainage in the state??? I think there is a possession limit as well but if yer frying  them up you can get right back to it the next day. I know guys that nail their limit every time out in Shannon and Franklin  county. They eat em up before their possession limit is illegal  and get the minnow trap out and go nail another 5 the next day.

Or are you saying these fish were gigged???or taken by some other illegal  merhod???

I will say this in my experience  in life, guys that lay fish out like that with a car like that in  the background are generally compensating for a lack of size somewhere  else.

No clue if they were over limit or not, don't know how many of them there was fishing, but assuming the 3 of them, 2 in photo and one taking the photo, even with 3 it appears over limit in at least one photo.  Sure hate to see the smallies on the table, honestly the LM don't bother me as much but then I am biased.
