Know what this is?  The way Shane Bush described it is - the left side of the chart is the upper lake like the White River Arm and the right side is the dam.  I think you can figure it out.  Note:  Water is running out of the lake at 130 feet deep.

I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything!

You can see the cold water form a cone at the end and get sucked through the turbines

WOW!! That is awesome! It make sense as it relates to water temps and distance from the dam.

I think it is interesting I wonder what it really mean to your fishing effort, . It is nice to know what the water temperature is. But over the years I have learned that wter temperature is not always the key to catching fish. It would seem to me if your doing a lot of scientific thinking between the water temperrure ane interperting your graphs and what have your your going to either confuse yourself are not be keeping your lure in the wter where it should be.

You're dead right, Plug. It's just a piece of information. But as you surely know from a lifetime of fishing, the more information you gather BEFORE you get on the water and the better you understand what's going on down below, the more likely you are to put the right lures in the right spots once you get out there.

And not every piece of information appeals to everyone. Kinda reminds me of what they like to say about AA meetings --- take what you can use and leave the rest.
