Old plug Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Any of you know of a bluegrass group called Next Best Thing. ? Sally in that group is going to have to go easy on her guitar playing for awhile. I took a treble hook out of hef thumb yesterday. They come back to the dock this morning and gave me two CD's from her mother Rhonda Vincent. I know nothing about musicians. I been deaf since 1966. Are they out of Branson or something.
dtrs5kprs Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Can't say I've heard of them, but they look to be fairly prominent. My bluegrass taste runs to Bill Monroe, etc. https://m.facebook.com/Next-Best-Thing-16404334330/?ref=page_internal&mt_nav=1
Royal Blue Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Not a Bluegrass fan, but Rhonda Vincent is as big of a name as there is in that genre.
fishinwrench Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 It'd be nice to fish with someone that could actually sing. One of my partners breaks out into song all the time, but he sucks! The only way to shut him up is to toss him a big piece of jerky. On good days it's Ted Nugent or AC/DC, but as the bite gets slower the songs get pretty lonely and sad. By the time we get back to the ramp I'm almost suicidal. LD Fisher, vernon, Donna G and 4 others 7

aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 Ive heard of Rhonda Vincent, she was at Silver Dollar City a year or two ago
Gavin Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 Next best thing puts on a great show. Saw them once, and Rhonda Vincent is stellar too. Will call dibs on the CD's if you can't find anything to do with them. Mitch f 1
Old plug Posted October 1, 2016 Author Posted October 1, 2016 Son in law wants them. He collects cd 's and ll kinds of old records., Never seen Vincent only her husband, Sally and Sallys husband.
Mitch f Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 I love Rhonda Vincent's voice. I have a few old songs by the Dillards on my phone. They once did a CD where they covered Beatles songs. It's amazing how good the Beatles songs were, done in Bluegrass. "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
