Browning Guy Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Bass fishing was bad, but wow, what a start. The cell phone photo didn't do this moment justice. So blessed to live in the United States and have the Rock. We caught several nice crappie and spent a great day with my 6 and 11 year old. merc1997 Bo, Alby Fish, Quillback and 16 others 19
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Yesterday morning was the foggiest i have ever seen anything. I Launched at cape fair marina at the far ramp from the marina and tried to idle over to sign in for the tourney and i ended up across the channel. We had a good laugh out of that. Had to turn on the GPS to get straighten back out
Nitro 750 Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Sounds like fun day on the lake. Really great pic!!!
96 CHAMP Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 The fog and the affects Wednesday morning at LOZ were remarkable to say the least.
Old plug Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 I was out Wednesday afternoon for about 3 hrs on LOZ and caught 5 keepers on a wacky worm. Should have been 8. I was not getting a real good feel and the shoulder does not set the hook as snappy right now. 3 were 15" are a bit more and one over 16" and one over 17". The ones I lost were every bit as large as those last two. I think it was my fault but sometimes the fish will twist that hook flat against the worm body and you wind up driving the hook straight down the center of the worm. I think though it was mostly my fault. If you was up in the gravois Champ you might have seen me. I fished from Indian creek down to cedar point where my home is. chased the shade areas the whole time I was out. Tooooo windy today But I hop to hit it tomorrow afternoon. Got grandkids this weekend.
Macsimus Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Great picture! "There was a time that I didn't fish, but I cannot remember it."
Champ188 Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Are you gonna get down this way soon, Macsimus? Didn't know at what point you flee the frigid North. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
Daryk Campbell Sr Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Haven't seen many "northern " reports. Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction.
