Yeah like Mike said the 6lber would get you in the big benjamin catagory for sure.....then you would have had to pay taxes on the winnings etc. Not to mention paying your accountant to figure all of this out 

Like Alex...couldn't find the 3+ to get in the money....and I even tried all of the tips that my internet friends here on OA were implying...I am a little slow so maybe next time some one could put out a sign on the water saying "fish here" Heck I was about to position myself off a point with a sign "will work for a good spot suggestion!"

But I did have a great time and I met a great guy and his son that makes his own swim baits and he gave me some to try...just some great folks. 

O and I did get some trout fishing in the evenings.....BONUS!!!!

Ahhh.  No big deal then.  I'm sure he's just as glad to have won the ACABT!

Man, that would at least make most guys stop and wonder "what if" for at least a second or two.........

Dang nice fish though!

I thought about fishing the BBT, but we have a great time staying at Dick Stuart's Oak Hill Resort and if I had entered the BBT, I wouldn't have chosen to fish the spot I fished on Sunday.I would like to try the BBT some time though. I've done pretty good in some Big Fish Derby's up in Michigan. I bought a new Z 519 Ranger last summer and its already paid for, so a Nitro wouldn't be needed. Congrats to the guy that won the boat. I hope he was in need of a new boat. I know guys that have won boats and it can be a bit of a hassle, but after it is done with, you should have some extra bucks in your pocket.

One of the main reasons I decided not to play pro sports or go into movies.  Taxes, agents, travel, media, community obligations, chicks - just not worth all the hassle.  

I prefer to be my own man!  

Nobody telling me what to do, where to be, what to spend my millions on.................

And I can go to bed every single night knowing that I made the right call too.

Nobody tells me what to do.............
