Good topwater day

Well all I can say is I wish I would have got out early, went out around noon and fished till 3 before a downpour and honeydews got me off lake. Fished down a long stretch of bluff throwing buzz bait and whopper plopper with only a couple of Ks to show. Got inside of a main lake point and lost a keeper LM and then caught a keeper and worked towards back and had a 5+. All in all it was pretty slow but you hit the right area and it happens in a hurry ?. All fish caught on topwater. Water temps 59-60. Everyone have a great holiday.

That's the 3rd report I've heard like that today.  Another buddy had a pair of 6's even.

Dammit, I got stuck helping prep for Turkey day.   Might get to hit it hard tomorrow though.

Nice sunny pretty fair weather days are not always the best fishing days as we all know ?.

I did not male it out till about 4pm. way to late for a day like Tiesday. That is way to lake for this time of year and weather. All Ingot was one 12 " kentucky. I had to repair my big foot foot switch first. By the time I got to my spot I only had time for about 10 cast and the cold wind got to me. I love tofish cky or trick worms this time of thecyer sometime skittering then on he surfce nd letting them fall. Today Ibam stuck iin Herman and tomorrow Ingot to go to Ladue for thanksgiving. I have made it clear to my wife we are going home tomorrow night( see how not having  to worry about any punkin pie lets you be more assertve Wrench) so I can fish Friday.

 I believe it will. I had water surface temps in my area of 59. I will be out there as long as I can. Water seems to be getting real clear in my area. I am stil following the shade. I have used nothing but a wacky worm or trick worm on creek channels skitering and what not. I just love to fish those things on my 7 ft spinning rod with 12lb braid.  That can be a thrilling experience behind docks and around cables wih a 16-17 inch keeper on there.

Sounds fun. Love that buzzbait bite when it gets going. Wish I was headed down, but alas, too much family stuff going on.

Yeah well I want to enjoy my punkin' pie as long as I can. 

I told her I was going fishing today and she said ..."that's fine but I need you to do THIS and THIS and THIS".    

Well it wasn't "fine" because by the time all the "THIS's" were done there was only about an hour of daylight left.  Then she says "Well....I thought you were going fishing".       

Just shut up and bring me that pie !  ?

MAN!!!!! do all the females out here use tthat same rotten phrase.  " I thought you was going fishing" I really believe they turn away smirking and giggling after that. I wonder where they learn this stuff.

I can't be expected to understand her when I don't even understand myself.

I can't remember for the life of me what was so unpleasant about being single.  I mean "punkin' pie" can be found just about anywhere, way cheaper than I end up paying for it too.
