Yeah a 2 lber is definitely 15".

I don't remember him catching that many good ones, but they all looked smaller to me than the weight they called out, so you might be right.  Camera angle tricked me a bunch.

I love the show. One thing drives me nuts. I can't stand it when they highlight someone talking about the surprise of where they are going that day. It's the same story every time. We get it already. Geez.

Works better when they are fishing multiple lakes like they did in OK. When it's one big lake it can't be that much of a surprise.

Now, if they'd load them up and roll for Twain, Truman, or Pomme, that would be fun. I'd have fished them on LOZ to qualify, then hauled them up to Long Shoal for the finals.

The surprise deal does seem like a waste of time and effort, and kinda lame.  I mean what pro fisherman doesn't have some knowledge of Lake O, let's be real.

It couldn't have been that much of a secret because I heard they were coming a day or two in advance....And who the heck am I?  I just didn't know where they were launching until someone from the Coffman access area posted something on FB that morning.  I went out that evening after work and spoke to a guy from OK that I'm pretty sure was part of their crew.

I did real well that evening on a swim jig around 8-12' brush.  It was one of my better days.

All this talk about targeting is kind of funny  The thing is there are two kinds of Targets in this world stationary and moving. In fishing your trying to hit a moving Target. I think a lot of fisherman hear all the talk and are s hooting at the wrong target. its not easy.

Well, it's a reality show and that's the reality of fishing.  Nobody goes out there and just slays all the hogs.  Not very often anyway. ?

Only on the internet is that possible.

I like how the announcer keeps calling it the Graa-voice arm.

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson

Everybody says it differently.  Gra-voice, Grav-oy,  Grav-iz,  Grav-oiz, Grav-ice, or Grav-eye.   There's even a few (even locals) that say Grav-eyte..... No idea how or why they think a T needs to be thrown in there.

I even say it differently myself depending on the context of the sentence.

One thing is for dam sure.... The name is the ONLY thing complicated about THIS town.  ? Pretty simple little area. I love it that way too. Hope it never changes.

"Grav-oyz" is proper....But WGAF? ?

Or "Grav-wah" in the French.

Don't even get started on Versailles...

Definitely some folks challenged by French at some point on the past.

Is Versailles pronounced Ver-sails or Ver-sai? Most say Ver-sails, but I've also heard it called Ver-sai. I've always used Ver-sails.
