Bass markings

Doesn't really look very un-typical to me...the dark stripe is a little less broken than normal, and the scattered dark spots below it are a little more prominent than usual, but all in all it looks pretty much like a largemouth from clear water to me.  Am I missing something?

I went through literally hundreds and hundreds of photos I have of largemouth bass that I have caught. And a large portion of those from the exact same river.

None of them have the scattered dark spots that this one has. Not this prominent. And that was my only reason for posting. But yeah other than that, it is just a plain ol typical largemouth bass.

Whatever it is, its a little fish. I'm quite sure it put up a spirited fight and you were glad to catch it.

Little. Fish.

Joe I can only aspire to be as prominent and legendary fisherman as you boys from the East Coast.

Yes it was a very spirited fight. It was all I could do to hang on and bring her in. Rod bent and reel screaming, I was giddy with excitement.

And I know you don't catch anything but large fish. I see it every time you post a pic. Even if it is the same two fish from years ago. You are my inspiration and the reason I fish. Please continue to carry the torch my brother!

Why did I have to click on this thread? Now I probably won't sleep a wink until a scientific explanation for the coloration on that bass is figured out.
