I didn't know that fishing could cause all these problems!  For one when he throws all then centipede's now he has Rotator cuff problems! And all that candy, now a diabetic! And for the beer drinking AA meetings? Man I am glad I don't catch alot of fish!!!!!!!!!!

Im with you eye, it isnt worth all the problems to catch fish.....i think form now on i'll just put a sinker on my line and throw it out there.

I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything!

At least the hogs will be dancing this year!

Dark days for my MIZZOU right now for sure. On all levels. Used to REALLY get amp'd up for late March because it meant watching MU in the field of 64 and typically the fish starting turning on at TR. I guess this is just the Medieval Times for Mizzou Tigers. Might need some heads on the chopping block to get this thing righted.

Experienced the down fall of Petrino our football team could have been great.  Fish are definitely biting so we can enjoy that!

I would stop counting after I reach the number of points that the Razorback football team gave up in the second half of games this year, but the number far exceeds my fishing ability.

2016 Mizzou vs Arkansas

Football Mizzou

Men's Basketball Split

Men's Baseball Mizzou best two  out of 3

Women's Basketball Sweep Mizzou

Women's Softball Sweep Mizzou

Women's Volley Ball Sweep Mizzou

For sure, I have refrained from bashing Mizzou due to the fact that they beat the Hogs in football this year, then spanked them on the BB court.  BB loss was especially painful considering Mizzou was tied for last in the SEC at the time.

You are all being exceedingly kind and gracious not to mention MU has a 24% decline in enrollment....evidently not enough safe places ?

That is only part true.  They had a 22.9 percent decrees in 2016 freshman enrollment.  But had the highest Freshman retention from 2015 in the entire country. 87.7 percent of freshman continued on into their sophomore year at Mizzou, no other public university even came close.

They also had huge gains in there post graduate studies, the most in the history of the school with students enrolling in their Masters and Dr. programs, at record levels.

Enrollment is 33,390.00 and is only off 2,300 students from 2015

Application for the 2017 school year are said to be at a record level that was set in 2010, so I'm just guessing they may be ok there.

If you take some of the Local Universities

Mo. State 26,000, Arkansas 27.000 and the University of kansas at 28,000   Mizzou is still ok with 33.000 students. as the Star pointed out.

KC Star did a piece on this a few weeks ago.

I was wondering if that Tennessee comment might draw you out. LOL

You are right ... I knew I was treading on thin ice but couldn't resist.

All in good fun, my brother.

WPS!!!

I grew up in Missouri and moved to Fayetteville a few years ago. I was never a big Mizzou fan but since moving here, being a Razorback fan is contagious!  Most college programs have their ups and downs...we are just having a few 'downs' right now!

Champ is as skilled at stirring the pot, as he is at catching fish. I'm not sure if it's due to his experience on the water, or as a journalist.
