Maybe I will have my boat back by then.  I dang sure hope so! I can bring a small folding table or two. I will also bring a Peruvian potato and cheese sause if anyone is interested in something a bit different.  Let me know what y'all think. Any one that has tried has liked it if I don't make it very hot.

What can be bad about potatoes and cheese!!!

That is comfort food for sure....and if your boat is still in bad order you can fish with me

It is awesome! It is served cold. It is an iconic Peruvian dish. It is called Papa a la Juancaina.  Let me hear you say that 5 times real fast! ?

I've been at it for about an hour now and I ain't said it once yet!  In fact I think I sprained my tongue a couple of minutes ago.  Gonna have to try it though.  Gotta say that I didn't even realize that Eureka Springs had a Peruvian community!

Hahaha! Don't hurt yourself to bad! I am the Peruvian community. I happened to grow up in Bolivia and Peru. Iwas in my teens in Peru so I learned to cook some of the food. Up here I would be missing it, would look it up on the internet and make it. Papas a la Huancaina is pronounced like wonka eena.

You must realize you are surrounded by troglodytes.

M&M verified that the park is not open for camping until 5/01.  Also no ramp fee.

Well now I did not know that,  I see campers there from time to time all winter and assumed you could dry camp...and I had mine there last year, ooops.

Viney is open for dry camping though, it's about 15 or 20 minutes from E. R $10.00 a night for off season.

Here is the question I asked and the COE's answer about charging a fee. You can judge if the COE means you cannot use it or you don't have to pay a fee.

Emily, I forgot to ask is the daily use fee still waived for the couple of boats that will launch from Eagle Rock in the April tourney? And also is the fee still waived for the BBQ pit use for the day as we will have hot dogs after the tourney?

Mike

Mike,

Eagle Rock Park does not open fully until May 1, at that time the daily use fee will go into effect along with the fee for reserving a shelter. At the time of your tournament we will not yet be charging fees, so you won't have to worry about that. Just be aware if you have another tournament later in the year after the parks are open that the daily use and shelter reservation fees will be in effect.

Thanks,
Emily

Mike - you should ask her about having the restrooms open that day!
