Well deserved accolades ensued , with good natured back slapping and bonhomie. Snoop joined the good times with apparently a lot on his mind. Some hackles were raised, but, no big whup, and, as usual, the original post was unceremoniously pushed aside to give you what WE want to discuss. Namely, competition, homosexuality and apologies. Like a soap opera, but without good looking men and coiffed hair. Once again Mr. D- in his usual state of insomnia- posts a good hearted, yet truthful analogy which very accurately summarizes the previous 15 pages of posts and makes me giggle like a twitterpated middle schooler. As always, thanks Joe for making sure things stay light.............. Hog Wally, joeD, Seth and 3 others
JestersHK
Wow! Slow day at work here and just plowed through 16 pages of this thread... Not sure what to make of it either as once we got to Mermen I spit soda all up in my keyboard. I will say I have learned more here than I have contributed back, and its something I hope to work on. I also think despite some occasional ugliness and maybe a few outliers I bet all of us would be more than happy to share an adult beverage together around a campsite after a long day of fishing a friendly CPR tourney to talk/lie about all our sea monsters we have slayed. As for me I'm still being outfished by my daughter when it comes to small water smallies, shes got a knack for always catching the big ones, and the best part is I could care less what anyone thinks of my "fishing skills" Daryk Campbell Sr, Smallieguy87, mzrealfish and 5 others

Well stated. I also appreciate seeing you and your daughter getting after them. You and I both hope that they continue to catch the big ones so that they want to continue to get out fishing with dad . That is until they find the boys! Then you hope that they find one that you would be willing to get out with to hunt and fish and not want to leave in the woods or push out of the boat! JestersHK
3 girls too! We should start a club lol. I did the math and in 8 years for 3 months I will actually have 3 teenage girls until the oldest turns 20... I wouldn't want it any other way though honestly. Have to agree and disagree. Our girls are 15 and 13. Oldest dances and cheers, youngest plays volleyball, basketball, and track and is a weight lifting machine, Compared to some of my friends with boys who play baseball on a regular team plus a "prospect" team, have 500 dollar bats, 300 dollar gloves, 150 dollar cleats, pitching or hitting instructions three nights a week, tournaments every weekend 4 hours away that requires fuel, lodging and eating out at least twice a day, girls really aren't that expensive. I pay $750 a year for my daughter to play about a dozen VB tourneys. Plus out of town practice 3x a week which always means dinner out too. Plus ball, shoes, uniforms. Then you start on motels, gas, tourney shirts, food, this, that,....Then we start on school VB. Theyre not expensive at all. edit; actually I think it's only 8 tourneys. Maybe 7. Yeah we do all that too but I guess it's more expensive where I'm at. Between cheerleading, band, tumbling, dance, volleyball, proms, cars, etc.... it's been very expensive. A $500 bar is chump change. But it has been worth every penny.
