who has the biggest pecker, the ned rig and suggestively seductive mermen all in one thread that started as a nice smallie caught on an HD craw. What the heck is going on?

So if you're new to the forum or wanting to fish the Meramec: yes the ned rig will catch fish, The HD craw will catch you fish, Yes there was an Indian who claimed to have saw a seductive merman but those sighting are RARE. Keep an eye out for the potential spotted bass being chucked onto a bank or gravel bar and most of all JUST HAVE A GOOD TIME.

I posted a trip report.

Isnt what this is about? Or do you guys want to keeping arguing about who has/is the biggest pecker?

I even caught a bunch of fish on the Ned rig. Nothing on the HD Craw but I did fish it. Chief can vouch for me.

I thought you were fishing a grub? Or is that the same thing?

But yeah cranks and Ned's/grubs/Jerm Werm whatever the trendy name is caught fish. An honest non-biased try of the HD yielded nothing. No big deal. It happens. Doesn't mean it's a sucky bait. If it's what makes you weak at the knee's, by all means keep praying at the alter of the HD.

I apologize to any new comers who don't quite understand what all this is about.  Honestly, I don't know what all this is about?

sorry someone claimed to be an expert here????.....the only thing I claimed was most fisherman will score very few fish from the Middle Meramec.

Also this challenge doesn't have to be on the Meramec, I will go where ever you boys need me to go.

Sounds to me that You should be fishing down in Texas at Lake Conroe this weekend. Put the boots on Boy's the Brown Stuff or BS is getting a little deep around here. Past Derby results Please ???

I watched the KU game at a friend's house while wearing my Chemo/KU hat, hoping to jinx them.  Though Michigan teased a few time even I couldn't jinx them.  And I don't watch sports on TV, friends are rabid KU fans though, but otherwise they are good folks.

Hogwally those are very true words.  At this point I am not sure any of us know what or why, or perhaps I forgot since I took off and went fishing this evening.  Not a stellar evening but 3 keeper walleye and a short, 2 smallies, 1 LM, and 6 whites before I broke off my lucky jig because I was too lazy to re tie it.  That was more than enough to carry back up the hill to the truck. All caught on a cheap BPS brand walleye angler jig.

What's this all about? Easy. Hog Wally caught nice fish, as usual. Posted pictures. Check. Well deserved accolades ensued , with good natured back slapping and bonhomie.  Snoop joined the good times with apparently a lot on his mind.  Some hackles were raised, but, no big whup, and, as usual, the original post was unceremoniously pushed aside to give you what WE want to discuss.  Namely, competition, homosexuality and apologies.  Like a soap opera, but without good looking men and coiffed hair.

Need to change things up a bit. Remember when? You could camp at the Onondaga low water bridge for 2 dollars a car load. Camp at Big Eddy free. Camp at the Mud Bank? Park on the road at Indian Creek and actually use it. Indian Creek Campground? Run a prop motor because the banks weren't yet beat down. Cambell Bridge B4 it fell in the river. Good Smallies on Lazy Ikes, River Runts and Crème Worms. O Well.

Indian creek campground!  That's from the good ol days.   I'm glad they shut down parking though.  It got out of hand.

Lazy Ikes, always like them.  Still have one of them somewhere too, probably in my creek bag.
