Very nice, thanks for the info. Yet another reason to stop by when We're down!!!!

If you haven't been by Eric's shop, put it on your list. Really neat selection of tackle that suits the local fisheries, kayaks, fly goods, archery...

And good folks who know what they are selling. I stopped in during one of last month's downpours, spent about two hours talking everything from finesse fishing, to kayak bowfishing, to Iowa bird hunting. Diverse knowledge base.

Plus you can get a Dinky burger in the same parking lot 😀.

Kathy and I stopped by the same day that you were there.  Eric said we missed you by about ten minutes.  After the Walmart flyby I was afraid you'd start thinking we were stalking you.

Not that we weren't, I just didn't want you to think it.

Anyways, I completely agree about the new shop.  While it was pretty obvious that inventory was incomplete and stuff was arriving literally by the hour, it was also very apparent that Eric was putting together a great line of stuff.

Made a token purchase of a few packs of Zman's in Dirt and a couple of the rust/corrosion resistant Flambeau boxes (neither of which I might add were available at the Kansas City Cabela's so there's that.........)

Enjoyed looking around and visiting with Eric as well as a couple of other guys that were there at the time.  He even gave us a private demo of the indoor volcano like water feature that was pretty cool.

Shouldn't be long before his place is one of the better BPS alternatives (thank you Lord) in the lake area and I think most would agree that that's a good thing.

Highly recommend that everybody check it out at some time in the near future!

Unfortunately, we were heading to the Steak Inn for dinner later on so we had to pass on the Dinky burger.

Curses.
