Ok, a quick pair of pictures. The first shows the installed Winn grip kit. The second shows the first and second load bearing guides with the bumper in between.  I used white silk thread and did not treat it. When you do that, the epoxy turns the entire wrap very translucent. You might be able to see the guide feet.

Well, I'm sorry but I still don't think that that's much of an excuse. 

In my opinion, if you can turn completely around on the front deck without stepping on something you're grossly under armed!

Now, you don't need to actually use all or any of that stuff - just have it up there to make you feel ultimately prepared in case of the fish holocaust!

Wow i can see im out of Vernon's league, i only have 3 rod and reels on deck, i guess i just need to quit fishing...

Well, I would never say that you should quit but it wouldn't hurt to at least make it look like you're trying a little harder.

The fish are always watching you know and I believe that the fish gods tend to recognize and reward what they perceive as maximum effort!

As for my "league" you are probably right - I am indeed in a league of my own but primarily because no one else has ever shown even a remote interest in being a part of it.  

However, I don't see that as tarnishing the exclusiveness one bit!

Ok Vernon, so these fish Gods you speek of, do they exist only in TRL bc we were up at Stockton fishing friday night and on the front deck there was about 15 rods and back deck of say I had 6. With tackle for 2 slung everywhere, we managed 4 fish total all night til 1 am with only 1 keep. Where did we go wrong bc I know it looked like we were trying hard!
