jdmidwest Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 I have noticed that unless they are a part of the house, they don't get used often enough. Basements, safe rooms, are better choices. Some gut feeling too. If you watch the storms brewing to the West and track the watches and warnings forming along that line they are pretty accurate. Soon you get reports after the fact of damage and it has been spot on. I plan on gathering important things and walking to our shelter.
