eyedabassman Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 Don't feel bad! Alot of us are going through what you are! Just a select few are getting better fish, knowing the lake and it's patterns does help! It may take me about 20 years to get it down pat, so that puts me at 85 not sure nursing home or a boat with a ramp! Daryk Campbell Sr and big c 2
Ellros Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 Not "quite" as many idiots out on Monday-Thurs, so that's a better time to get out... except for next week. I won't go out on the weekends until after Labor Day. Way too may crazies out there. MoCarp, eyedabassman, vernon and 1 other 4
Browning Guy Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 LOZ south. Mid James was complete chaos. "Shoreline Protection Tax" for boats over 24'? This past weekend...... the morning water visibility was 3'. By 5 p.m. less than 1' due to the massive waves stirring up the WHOLE lake. Bad enough the kids didn't want to swim aside from the fact you couldn't hardly stand up on the dock. Has anyone heard about the wake board boats NO longer being able to fill their boat bladders/hulls with water to make bigger wakes? Not sure if that's true or not. Dear Missouri Water patrol, PLEASE put more officers on LOZ south (formerly known as Tablerock). 1. Protect and ENFORCE the 100' dock law. 2. Make it known that boaters (all) ARE responsible for their wake 3. When you see stupid, call them out and ticket them. Yes, there are laws against stupid. You just need to figure out which law is most applicable and ticket them. 4. Consider making people have boating licenses (on-line course). A pain for us? Yes, but at least a start on putting some sort of boating sense into the heads of some. dtrs5kprs, Ellros, Quillback and 5 others 8

The traffic is bad in the lake, but it's brutal up the rivers. Just no place to go.

I live across from Indian Point Marina, and went down to the dock (around 7pmish) for a short bit last night to prep my boat for a Monday morning outing. The waves coming into the cove were the biggest I have seen in a long time. Usually the dock is pretty stable, even with bigger waves, but it was really rocking up and down last night.
Bill Babler Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 40 plus years on this lake and have never seen this amount of boating activity. Waves from the Dam to Point 9 were in the 3 to 4 foot range. Kimberling City was just plain SCARY magicwormman, Ellros and dtrs5kprs 3 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
