Cumberland and Punisher make pretty nice ones.  I just wish pork frogs hadn't been discontinued, always were my favorite hair jig trailer.

If not mistaken, Zig jigs don't have weed guards. I love marabou too but they just don't last as long as bucktail

All my jig are budktail except for a 1oz rubber skirtd one  jig I have used to bang the bottom.  To me the thing like about deer hair jigs is I can customize their sink rate. leavng the hair real long males a trailor effct.  Do not really think though that the fish cares if it is hwir, pastic skirted or a grub. It is a personal  preference.
