I had several beautiful brownies yesterday on a stick bait. Man they are so much to catch that way!

That's a beautiful brown!  

Fishwere fighting good last night, and were reviving ok for us.  Keeping them in the water mostly though other than for a quick pic.

Always gotta send 'em back to their home safe! 

 

Were you guys fishing from a boat or wading? I've had limited success wading up by the outlets. Super fun nonetheless.

I have not been to the dam wading yet this year.... pretty sad actually.  But boat fishing has been very good.

Good stuff. I am getting excited for the weather to get cooler and for the big browns to start feeding like they're at a buffet. Atleast that's what i'm hoping for...

 

Somehow have still not caught a brown out of Taneycomo. Of any size.

 Yeah,  I only landed one those 2 nights.   And that one came on the top water beetle.  It's always been hit or miss on them for me.   If they are generating at night and you are throwing sticks then that has been my best pattern for successfully catching them.
