She os no kid She has grown through hell and high water into a fine young lady entering her last year in college soon. She handles guns flyrods and bait casters better than  many men I know.

I got the 34P back when the combo(scope etc.) was about 225.00, now airgun depo has gone up to 399.99, bit of a change, didnt realize what the prices had done in the last few years.

Just checked, they are cheeper at Pyramid air.

I've already become a snob about a few things.  I can't stand the looks of thumb  hole stocks, for one.   Or anything "tactical" looking.

Also don't care for the scopes with giant oversized turrets, or other frills.

If I had that RWS like Oldplugs I would take the scope off and use the irons.  It has a really fine set of iron sights on it.  I might get one and do just that

Just a few?

Oh don't YOU even start.  You're a bigger snob than I am by far.  Mr. "Oh you're gear fishing? I believe I'll pass but thanks for the invite".

The Gamos have nice fiberoptic iron sites on them.  I think im going to take the scope off of one of them and see what happens. Havent shot scopeless with anything in years. That scope really helps my blinding eyes.  Guess i could shoot with my glasses on. I use them with the scope.

Im with ya on the thumb hold stocks, and military style guns for hunting.  Must be the old school in me.  Good luck wrench as i see the addiction has started.

I kinda expect Gamo and others to offer the 10x system into more models.  A repeating break barrel with a fine set of irons would be kinda sweet.

No irons at all on the Swarm.  Not sure how long the stock scope is gonna last, since the guys that are hip to all of this stuff claim that the stock Gamo scopes are not likely to last very long.   I have a few other good scopes laying around but on the Swarm I'm limited in scope length. So I might be scope shopping soon.   I have a mediocre Simmons laying around that might work, but the others that I already have are too big I think.

There's an old abandoned road where I ride my mountain bike that has some old road signs along it.   How much trouble could I get in for swiping those? :)  They'd be perfect material for making some sillouette targets.

The breakbarrel will scatter a Simmons Scope on first shot probably.  Walmart sells a Centerpoint scope that is rated for breakbarrels.  There are several others, Hawke is a good one.

2 stage recoil is hard on a scope, the spring loaded piston causes a forward and backward recoil unlike a powder fired rifle.  Most scopes are only designed to handle the rearward recoil of the powder rifles, they come apart when the piston unloads.

First 50 rounds at 25 yards after the scope mounting and sighting-in Shinanigan's.   I really REALLY like this gun.   Can't wait to play with different pellets.   Using Crosman Premier 14.3gr. HP's right now....and they ain't bad by any means.   IMG_20171127_142732037.jpg
